We hired Rocco to advise and consult on a color scheme and finishes to attract buyers who would pay a premium for a turn key home. We strongly believe that Rocco’s design esthetic and understanding of where to spend money and where to save, helped us achieve the highest price possible for our house sale.

We had two requirements for Rocco:

• To provide us a look, design vision and presentation that would appeal and bring as many able paying buyers to bid at a premium for the property and its quality
• To consult on the purchase of mostly economical finishes and a few high quality finishes to achieve a desirable designer look; on a strict budget

Rocco achieved both goals. In fact, his design vision was so strong/clear, when certain items were sold out, (due to the pandemic and wild fires in California) we were able to make agile decisions and replacements to keep up with our tight schedule. Another reason Rocco was worth hiring was that he listened to and understood the goal; when the contractor and I started to make decisions that would shift us from being economical to costly, Rocco would push back politely and explain why we needed to stay on track. This is a man and company to hire to actually reach a goal.

I am beyond thankful that I made the decision to work with Rocco Designs. A lot of people, one of which was me, think they can do a project by themselves; why would I pay someone to layout the floor plan and pick out tile.  How hard could it be?  My mind has been changed forever.  It is a worthy investment to work with a professional to guide you through the process and ensure you’re not making uneducated decisions.  

I have come to realize that yes, I could have done it myself.  However, it would also LOOK like I had done it myself.  The layout would have been cramped, filled with too many competing designs, and an overall appearance that would have been underwhelming or even bad.  Instead, I have a space which, hands down, will be the highlight of my home.
